RAFIS is the information arm of the Department of Agriculture advocating the importance of the communication of information (transparency of the department's projects, programs and services) that bridges the gap between the department and its stakeholders.

RAFIS also manages the department's media relation program; design and develop all the multi-media communications prescribed in the communication plan; reproduce copies of all materials for distribution, in whatever media is prescribed in the communication plan (i.e., paper, CDs, electronic files, videos, audios, comics, etc.)
